Dad was awake when Mike entered the room this morning and remained awake for 3+ minutes. Similar to the last couple of days, he gave the same responses when the doctor checked on him -- thumbs up, lifted right arm, waved right hand and stuck out his tongue. When asked to move his left arm, it was much more difficult and he could only move fingers. The doctor did report that his physical strength seems to be improving slightly, so that is a good sign.
Hang in there, Dad! We all love you!
On this beautiful Sabbath day we were happy to hear of his responses. Our meetings today were particularly filled with the Spirit, and likely because of the special fast we are holding for all of you wonderful Grays. We know you are loved by angels in Heaven as well as your friends and relatives here. We know our Father will bless you. We will continue in our thoughts and prayers in your behalf. This week we will be in St. George and I will put President Gray's name, as well as my sweet friend Carmen's in the temple there. Love, Gary and Nancy Harrop
ReplyDeleteWe are so glad to be able to keep touch through the website. Thank you to all of you for updating. Please tell your precious father that he is constantly in our thoughts and prayers. Now, you will see something amazing. That sweet, quiet, little lady that has been content to be in the shadow will emerge to be the family leader and decision maker. She is the "steel magnolia." Mark my words, she is alpha-woman and she can do anything. She is one of the strongest women I know. Stand back and watch!!!
ReplyDeleteRick sends much love too!
ReplyDeleteSo far my Sis is pretty amazing. I know she is strong as she has Petty blood in her. That doesn't mean this is easy...however you guys (the family) are very very strong and faithfull too. What a wonderfull family you are!
ReplyDeleteWe saw Jim yesterday and he really responded when his old friend said "Jim this is Amos" Friends for many years he knew he was there. It brought tear to my eyes and I know he will slowly come back...love to all of you. Aunt Lucile
